posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The official website of Sega, Ecole, and French Bread's Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Ignition fighting game began streaming a promotional video for the game on Wednesday. The video reveals that LiSA (Fate/Zero, Sword Art Online, The irregular at magic high school) is performing the game's theme song "ID." The video also previews the new song, as well as showing the game's playable characters, support characters, and new mechanics.
Sega will release the game for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita in Japan on December 17.
Ecole and French Bread again are developing the game, which debuted in Japanese arcades on July 28.
The game adds new playable characters, such as The Devil Is a Part-Timer!'s Emi Yūsa/Emilia, Heavy Object's Quenser, and The irregular at magic high school's Tatsuya Shiba. It also adds new systems, such as the new ability to pick two support characters and switch between them every round, and it re-balances existing characters.
The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita port of Sega's first Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax arcade fighting game shipped in Japan on November 13. Sega plans to release the game in North America and Europe on October 6.
The first game features 14 playable characters and 23 support characters from ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko light novel titles. The game was launched to celebrate the imprint's 20th anniversary. Mami Kawada performed the original game's first theme song "Belief."
